Urban Decay Vegan List
Hey 👋 Everyone!!! I wanted to share with you All Urban Decay’s🌱Vegan-Friendly Products List for those who purchase from this brand.
As you All know by now Urban Decay is a 🐰Cruelty-Free Beauty Brand with A Parent Company who test on animals and it’s L’Oreal.
This is what has stopped me from supporting the brand since they got Acquired. Here’s the Social Media Response from Urban Decay regarding my questions. I have emailed them for years and unfortunately their PR nor their customer service support has ever emailed me back. They did However respond through social media platforms.
I have also taken the liberty of checking Sephora China to see if Urban Decay sells their products in mainland China and they don’t at all.
After checking in with The Leaping bunny program PR they have stated that.Urban decay has stated that they don’t sell in mainland China where animal testing is required.
Although we all know that L’Oreal their parent company does test on animals.

I don’t work for any brand posted on here I’m just a huge Animal lover who is creating change for the animals ✊🏽Remember to just vote with your hard earn money 💰 because we live in a world where money talks unfortunately. Im still personally struggling with this catch22. ( a dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions.) ColourpopCosmetics is a Cruelty-Free🐇Beauty Company with many 🌱Vegan-Friendly Products here’s the List! Provided through Email by Colour pop PR.

“Hi Love,
Thanks for reaching out regarding your concerns. We are happy to answer any questions you have to get this cleared up and appreciate you seeking correct information to share with your followers! We are sure they appreciate it as well!
We have not reformulated our products and our ingredients list are up to date.
This ingredient list is called a composite ingredient listing. Government regulations state that you can have individual listings per shade or a composite ingredient listing that covers all shades. You will notice that there is a bracket with a +/- at about the middle of our ingredient listing. This symbol means “may contain”. All items listed after the [+/-] are “may contain” ingredients. In other words these are ingredients that are used in some of our shades but not all of them. As we have a huge shade range and are continually launching new shades, this is the most efficient and accurate way to list the ingredients that are contained in our products. Most major brands (including MAC) list their ingredients in this “composite ingredient listing” format. This is because it would be very time consuming and tedious for brands with multiple shades and frequent launches to update the exact ingredients for every single shade. Thus according to government regulations our products are represented accurately and at industry standard.
Due to the composite ingredient listing format, we have chosen to list the shades that use “Carmine” on our site as many of our lovely customers are vegan and this information is very important to them. This list is accurate and the remaining of our products are vegan as our FAQ page states.
We do not currently have plans of making a Vegan Friendly Tab but this is a great idea and I will pass it on to the team!
We are not currently Leaping Bunny Certified, it is on our list but it is a very lengthy process. We have not yet looked into PETA certifications but I will do some research and see if this is possible 🙂
We will be updating our FAQ to include the Super Shock Cheek shades that are not Vegan (I believe all but 4 are Vegan)”

This color is so unique- an amazing duochrome of blue and green exactly like the scales of a mermaid’s tale. Duochromes are colors that look completely different depending on the light and the angle. This color can look blue, green, or even purple and goes on sheer and shimmery. When we created this color, we were looking to duplicate the colors of a peacock’s feather. While we definitely succeeded, as soon as our team saw the paint we couldn’t help but be reminded of the ocean and specifically, of a mermaid. Who doesn’t love mermaids??
