I started this company five years ago with a single blender in my one bedroom apartment in downtown Palo Alto. I was working long hours as an advisor to natural products companies and hated how unhealthy I had become.  I started experimenting with raw vegan diets and created cleansing smoothies in my kitchen.  I knew what I had created was special (because it worked); so, in true Silicon Valley fashion, I posted about my weight loss, renewed energy, and better skin on Facebook.  Several men and women, people just like you, asked if they could join me in jumpstarting a healthier lifestyle.
I created Kaeng Raeng Cleanse to provide an accessible, healthy, delicious, and FILLING natural cleanse product to the market.  I was sick of how tired and gross I felt with my awful diet of processed, artificial foods and decided to embrace the culture of health and wellness so ubiquitous in Northern California.  I found doing the Kaeng Raeng cleanse exhilarating and liberating.  I could really taste my food.  I was finally aware of what I was putting into my body.
I named the company Kaeng Raeng, pronounced kang-rang, which means “be healthy, be strong” in the Thai language. I continue to be fascinated with Thai’s cultural cuisine focused on the vegetarian lifestyle (Phuket, Thailand has the largest vegetarian festival in the world). KR is truly a product that empowers you to find your best health and inner strength. Although we have a Thai name, KR is 100% made in the USA.
Over the years I found great partners like CNN health expert Dr. Melina Jampolis, Kim Barnouin, author of Skinny Bitch, who officially endorses the cleanse, and the inspiring Lauren Conrad who endorses our Detoxfoliant scrub.  We brought on staff one by one, updated our packaging, adopted a dog-in-chief, moved into a warehouse, and launched new lines.  But I’ve never lost sight of the original goal of the company: to provide our customers with high quality, affordable cleansing products.
No I’m not a stick-thin model or a hippy. Kaeng Raeng is not owned by a Wall Street bank or a foreign corporation. I’m just an entrepreneur who used to have trouble staying healthy, and I found a kick ass way to always look and feel my best.  I’m writing this so that you know who we are, and what we stand for. Today, we’re launching new and exciting cleansing products every quarter, including our brand new vegan body care line.
Kaeng Raeng is a privately owned corporation based in the San Francisco bay area. Our supplements are made in a certified GMP FDA regulated facility for your health and safety and all of our body care products are hand made in small batches right here in California. As a small business we’re committed to growing sustainably and helping our customers get healthy in a safe and natural way. KR Cleansing Clay is a unique formulation of two highly absorptive clays and activated charcoal, an absorptive carbon that can attract and hold 200 times its volume in impurities, making it the perfect ingredient to help draw out toxins. High end spas charge several hundred dollars for these specialty masks, but now Kaeng Raeng has brought the spa to your home! KR Cleansing Clay contains powerful botanical healing properties, mineral rich exfoliation, and luxurious essential oils which help to improve circulation and calm irritated skin.
How to Use:
Apply liberally to clean, dry skin. Allow 10 minutes to dry completely. You may notice a light tingling sensation while drying. Remove with warm water and a dark cloth as activated charcoal can stain light fabrics. Follow with KR After Glow moisturizing serum for naturally radiant skin. One 2oz jar of mask contains approximately 15 masks.
